This paper discusses the Clean Power Plan (CPP) legislation and its repeal on emissions from electricity generation sources. Demand side management (DSM) is probed to illustrate an alternative technique achieve lower goals. work Climate Action (CAP) corresponding Fort Collins, Colorado, U.S. timeline targets. Therefore, provides a for prioritizing DSM options through Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM). In that regard, framework created examine several of in reducing carbon footprints. The algorithm states affecting Greenhouse Gases (GHG) electric power system main goal this can be achieved by implementing technologies distribution systems. MCDM algorithms have been proposed prioritize alternatives select ones suitable reduction. findings Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) show “communication intelligence” option has global priority 0.341 making it potential optimal achieving goal. second “electric stationary storage” with 0.207. results obtained Network (ANP) suggest optimum technology reach target 0.284.
